I use this for making my own salad dressings and it seems to work fine. Use caution when you are mixing the dressings, etc. because the top can come off if you’re not careful.

This mixer has a few quirks. One thing I like about it: it has directions on the bottle for making your oil and vinegar dressings. There are too many separate parts here that are connected. This whole thing is made from cheap plastics, but the weak point in it is the narrow neck where the top and wider base meet. These are not 1 solid piece of material, rather two separate pieces of plastic molded together by two very small bonds. How do I know this? After or mixer fell over within the first week of use, these bonds broke – and you can see the weak construction of this mixer. I was trying hard to like it – I mean for the price, I shouldn’t expect quality, but I should expect it to last longer than it did. Given the choice, I’d look for something better constructed.
